One
of the biggest misconceptions about photography is that using a "good"
camera automatically means good pictures. A good camera does offer
certain functional attributes, and it can make some specific shooting
tasks easier, but there's a lot more to it than that.
Like
any other artistic endeavor, consistanly good images is the product of
hard work—acquiring the knowledge, experience, skill and technique to
produce the desired result—plus having the vision or ability to "see"
the artistic possibilities in a scene or subject.

Having
said that, I do get people asking about the equipment I use, and it can
be useful to know what type of equipment was used to achieve a
particular effect. So it is for those reasons that I offer my list of
